The pandemic has created panicky amongst people and social media has it's  share in it.     In these days three rumors  are in Top-3 list. 1) Everyone's phones are going to be Tapped. 2) Whatsapp will be shut down as per Hon. Supreme Court's order. & 3) Whatsapp Admin will be arrested  for the offending  messages.  However the Law says something else, we'll try to study it in nutshell. Telephone Tapping has not been ordered : Most of have seen Telephone Tapping in Hindi Movies, but in reality it's not at all easy and it may be done only after going through the Stringent rules and regulations, as envisaged in Indian Telegraph Act. कोरोनापेक्षाही घातक आहे फेक न्यूजचा विषाणू..  ऍड.  रोहित एरंडे. © सोशल मिडीयाच्या  वेगाने आता वाऱ्याच्या वेगालाही मागे टाकले आहे.  बरेचवेळा ह्या माध्यमातून पाठवल्या जाणाऱ्या बातम्यांबाबतीत खरे-खोटे काय ह्याची खात्री न करताच  मेसेजेस फॉरवर्ड केले जातात.   कोरोना बाबतीत ह्याचा प्रत्यय विशेषत्वाने आला. मास्क घालायचा की नाही, वर्तमान पत्र घ्यायचे  कि नाही, कोरोनावर रामबाण उपाय कोणते, कुठल्या समाजाने काय केले, किती लोक मरण पावले, असे अनेक पोस्ट्स 'मी पहिला' म्हणून हिरीरीने पाठवले जातात. ह्यात नुकतीच भर पडली ती - आपले सर्वांचे फोन आता  टॅप होणार आणि   सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने व्हाट्सऍप मेसेजेस वर बंदी घातली आहे.  एक निरीक्षण असे आहे कि ज्येष्ठ नागरिक, जे नुकतेच स्मार्ट फोन वापरयाला लागलेत, त्यांचा तर अश्या बातम्यांवर चटकन विश्वास बसतो.   टेलिफोन टॅपिंग म्हणले कि लोकांना हिंदी पिक्चर किंवा मालिकेमध्ये दाखवतात तसा प्रसंग डोळ्यासमोर येतो. परंतु प्रत्यक्षात कायद्याने टेलिफोन टॅपिंग हे सहजसाध्य नाही.  टेलिफोन टॅपिं...
